What is a Thermal Pile®?
Invented in 2007, an innovative technology where the pile is insulated from the inside of the galvanized steel tube, similar to how you would insulate the walls of your home.
Developed by Postech, this permanent and durable insulation keeps the inside of the pile at a temperature that prevents ice or frost from forming at the base of the shaft.

SUPPORT HEAD
We offer a full range of support heads—fixed, adjustable, flat, or U-shaped—to meet the specific needs of your project.

THERMAL INSULATION
This specially formulated, durable and permanent insulation system forms a protective zone that prevents water, cold air, frost and ice from forming at the base of the post, providing maximum protection against movement caused by freezing and thawing.
3
GALVANIZED STEEL
Our galvanizing process ensures our thermal piles benefit from long-lasting protection from corrosion.
4
PROTECTED AIR CHAMBER
Keeps the blade from freezing due to the thermal insulation above it.

BLADE
A foundation and an anchor, the blade of the thermal pile is installed below the frost line where it acts as a load bearing surface and prevents any uplifting. The size of the blade is based on the load to be supported and the type of soil where the screw pile will be installed.
